Bespoke Closed Cavity Façade (CCF) systems, delivered by Staticus is engineered to meet demanding performance requirements in thermal insulation, acoustic control, and long-term durability. It features a double-skin assembly with a sealed cavity that is supplied with subtle overpressure of dehumidified air . This prevents condensation and dust accumulation and allows integrated solar shading to operate reliably throughout the year with minimal maintenance.
The system has been developed in collaboration with Wicona, a long-term technical partner with a proven track record of CCF implementations across Europe. Together, we have adapted the system for efficient production, reliable on-site installation, and long-term serviceability, backed by tested performance data and maintenance protocols.
Via Vika is the first building in Northern Europe to implement a Closed Cavity Façade (CCF). Staticus delivered the complete façade package – design, testing, production, and installation, covering over 2,000 units. Read more.
Via Vika’s technical ambition and execution also earned industry recognition. The project was shortlisted for the SFE Façade Design and Engineering Awards. Read more.
This project advanced high-performance façade systems in the Nordic region, showcasing how precision-engineered, low-maintenance CCF technology meets energy, acoustic, fire safety, and environmental demands in architecture. The system has since been further developed and applied in other signature projects, including the K8 tower in Stavanger.
