Staticus is one of the largest full-service façade contractors in Europe. We are looking for a colleague to assist in managing the financial records and ensuring the accuracy of financial statements for the company’s operations in Lithuania and other countries.
Your future role
- Key Responsibilities:
- Perform monthly accounting tasks, including balance sheet reconciliations and investigating discrepancies.
- Prepare and manage payments to ensure timely and accurate processing.
- Monitor financial transactions and review supporting documentation.
- Supervise outsourced accounting providers and manage fixed asset accounting.
- Prepare and review VAT returns, tax settlements.
- Coordinate with the accounting team to complete tasks within deadlines.
- Oversee monthly closing processes and perform month-end journal entries.
- Develop and document business processes and accounting policies to strengthen internal controls.
What do we expect from you?
- Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Economics, Mathematics, Business Administration, Finance, or a similar field.
- Experience: 2+ years of experience in the field of accounting.
- Accounting Knowledge: Strong knowledge of close and period-end reporting, balance sheet reconciliations, and general ledger accounting.
Familiarity with tax requirements (VAT, income tax, etc.). - Time Management: Excellent time management and prioritization skills.
- Personal Attributes: Positive, proactive, and open-minded attitude with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Communication Skills: Good English language level for clear and impactful interactions.
