We are looking for a colleague to assist in managing the financial records and ensuring the accuracy of financial statements for the company’s operations in Lithuania and other countries.
Your future role
- Reconciliations and Discrepancy Investigation: Performing monthly balance sheet reconciliations and account clearing and investigating any discrepancies.
- Tax Preparation and Review: Preparation and review of VAT returns and other tax settlements and forms. Reviewing annual and extraordinary financial and income tax reports.
- Fixed Asset Accounting: Managing fixed asset accounting as well as transferring and splitting asset accounting.
- Monthly and Year-End Closing: Overseeing monthly closing in accordance with local legislation and Group requirements.Performing month-end journal entries.
- Invoicing and Payments: Sales invoicing across Staticus Group companies. Processing invoices until the release of payment across Staticus Group companies. Being responsible for employee-related expense accounting across Staticus Group companies.
- Data Processing and Reporting: Accounting data processing, systematisation, and preparation of reports. Preparation and submission of statistical reports.
What do we expect from you?
- Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Economics, Mathematics, Business Administration, Finance, or similar field.
- Experience: 3+ years of experience in the field of accounting.
- Accounting Knowledge: Good knowledge and understanding of close and period-end reporting. Proficiency in balance sheet account reconciliations and general ledger accounting. Good knowledge of accounting and legal tax requirements (import VAT, VAT, income tax, etc.).
- Time Management: Ability to manage time and prioritise tasks effectively.
- Personal Attributes: Proactivity, positiveness, open-mindedness, and result-oriented focus.
- Communication Skills: Ability to communicate effectively with colleagues and company partners. At least B2 English level for clear and impactful interactions.
