Head of Production

In this leadership role, you’ll be responsible for overseeing all aspects of our production process, ensuring we deliver quality, efficiency, and on-time completion for every project. You’ll lead a production team and foster a collaborative and results-driven environment through the full value chain.


Your future role

  • Health & Safety and Facility Management: Ensure the highest health and safety standards are maintained across all production processes. Maintain order and cleanliness in production lines and facilities, ensuring the environment is always showcase-ready for stakeholders. Ensure compliance with safety regulations and create a safe working environment for all employees.
  • Operational Excellence and Cost Efficiency: Drive continuous improvement through lean manufacturing principles to optimise production processes. Plan and manage innovation projects and capital expenditures (capex) to maintain a long-term competitive advantage. Select and implement effective production strategies across projects, and provide cost-efficient and realistic estimates for commercial teams during tenders.
  • Quality Assurance and Control: Ensure all staff are trained to meet quality standards. Implement and maintain quality control measures across production processes. Collaborate with the quality team to design and implement quality plans for each project.
  • Capacity Planning and Resource Optimization: Ensure accurate capacity planning to meet production demands. Balance in-house and outsourced activities to maximise efficiency and value. Allocate resources effectively to ensure seamless operations.
  • Leadership and Team Building: Build, lead, and motivate teams of production managers, technologists, and foremen. Ensure high engagement among production staff and promote diversity and inclusiveness within the workforce. Manage staff turnover with timely remuneration decisions and ensure good working conditions. Foster a collaborative environment that encourages continuous improvement.

What do we expect from you?

  • Experience: Proven experience managing product assembly production with more than 100 workers. Over 5 years of experience in managing production operations.
  • Technical Expertise: Expertise in the production processes of unitized curtain wall products. Proficiency in lean production tools, Theory of Constraints, and Agile principles. 
  • Production Management Knowledge: : Strong understanding of project management principles, basic financial literacy, and production costing methods. 
  • Strategic Thinking: Ability to develop and implement production strategies that align with company goals and market trends. Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills, consistently fulfilling internal agreements and promises.
  • Results-Oriented Approach: Proven track record of achieving production targets, improving efficiency, and reducing costs. Commitment to delivering exceptional quality and customer satisfaction, while promoting continued improvement and innovation.
  • Social Skills: Ability to build strong interpersonal professional relationships. Capable of working in multiple cross-functional teams and coaching to develop and grow different teams. Ability to foster self-managed project teams. 
  • Communication Skills: Strong communication skills, both written and verbal in English and Lithuanian. Capable of expressing the company’s and production’s interests to clients and external stakeholders.
  • Safety and Compliance: Strong commitment to safety and compliance regulations. Ability to effectively manage change and adapt to evolving industry trends and customer needs.

  • Compensation: In Lithuania, the salary offer typically ranges 7500 – 8300 EUR gross, based on your skills, competencies, and experience. For candidates in other countries, the salary offer will be determined using the same criteria, taking into account the local market conditions.
