We’re looking for a highly qualified Computational Design Lead to help drive innovation and efficiency in our design processes. As a key team member, you will be responsible for leading and mentoring a team of talented designers, optimising workflows, and implementing cutting-edge computational design techniques.
Your future role
- Technical Expertise: Maintain expertise in API programming, CDM, Autodesk Inventor, ERP, and other relevant software.
- Design Strategy Implementation: Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies to enhance our design capabilities.
- Process Optimisation: Oversee design processes to maximise efficiency and quality by ensuring access to advanced tool sets and design standardisation to the best practices across all projects.
- Compliance & Safety: Ensure adherence to company policies and regulatory standards, promoting a culture of safety and compliance. Maintain stringent quality control standards to meet client expectations.
- Communication & Collaboration: Facilitate effective communication within the team and across departments. Promote collaboration that aligns with organisational goals and project objectives.
- Team Development: Set clear objectives and foster a high-performance culture within the team. Provide regular feedback and coaching to support team members’ growth and development.
- Leadership: Lead recruitment efforts, manage onboarding, and support career development through mentorship and continuous training. Organise team-building activities to enhance engagement.
What do we expect from you?
- Education & Training: A higher education in Engineering, Architecture, or a related field (non-university level or above). At least 4 professional trainings per year to stay current.
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in façade systems and computational design.
- Communication Skills: Fluency in English at C1 level is required. Lithuanian is a plus. Must understand technical and professional terminology.
- Technical Knowledge: Proficiency in aluminium façade design, building physics, and general structural design. Knowledge of international design standards and project management principles.
- Programming skills: Strong general computer literacy and expertise with relevant design software, such as C++, Python, Grasshopper, and Autodesk Dynamo.
- Interpersonal Skills: Strong ability to build professional relationships and work within a team. Effective verbal and written communication skills, including public presentations.
- Team Lead Abilities: Strong leadership and organisational skills are required to motivate and foster a culture of learning and innovation.
- Personal Qualities: Proactive, organised, and able to work independently. Ability to support and train team members, handle pressure, and adapt to changing conditions.
