Staticus has been awarded as a Safety Culture Ambassador 2025

Staticus has been awarded as a Safety Culture Ambassador 2025 (“Saugos kultūros ambasadorius 2025”) by Lithuania’s State Labour Inspectorate (Valstybinė darbo inspekcija prie Socialinės apsaugos ir darbo ministerijos), standing out among 15 major Lithuanian companies in the national DSS360° good practice competition.

DSS360° awards recognise companies that implement practical, working approaches to occupational health and safety – from risk assessment and employee involvement to training, communication, and prevention.

Staticus Safe Team Campaign: a gamified approach to workplace safety

Our recognition reflects the results of the Safe Team (“Saugi Komanda”) campaign, launched in September 2024 as part of our Safe Workplace programme. The initiative addressed recurring safety violations in our production lines through a simple, gamified system: random H&S checks are tracked using a star-based score displayed on physical boards at each line, with monthly rewards for the best-performing teams. Progress is clearly visible to production workers, supporting transparency and friendly team competition. Since launch, recorded safety violations have significantly decreased by half, and in 2025 the campaign expanded to our warehouse unit.

As Rasa Sujetienė, Head of Health and Safety and the lead of the campaign, puts it:

Our aim was to run a positive internal campaign that rewards teams for doing things right, rather than penalising for non-compliance. The goal is to treat safety requirements as part of the job – looking out for ourselves and our colleagues.

The campaign was a joint effort by the Production, Health & Safety, and Marketing & Communications teams – a great example of cross-team collaboration at Staticus. We are glad to see positive results and to witness safety practices becoming a natural part of everyday operations.
