Staticus has become a Major Patron of the MO Museum – together will focus on socially vulnerable families

Staticus has announced the continuation of its partnership with MO Museum, committing as a Major Patron for the next two years. Following the first year of collaboration, the organisations will continue working toward a shared objective: expanding access to arts education for children from socially vulnerable families, with a focus on creativity and emotional intelligence.

Consistent support for children and families

Initially launched as support for MO’s educational programmes, the relationship has developed into a longer-term initiative aimed at community impact. Aušra Vankevičiūtė, CEO of Staticus, notes that the company’s philanthropic work consistently prioritises children and families.

“Lasting change comes through long-term commitment. We aim to create value in the communities where we operate and support the growth of future creators. Together with MO Museum, we can reach children and the people who care for them through creative education, inspiring encounters, and meaningful new experiences,” she said. Vankevičiūtė added that Staticus has maintained a broader focus on family well-being for years: since 2017, the company has supported one family facing financial hardship annually, helping to renovate their home and provide assistance throughout the year so children feel cared for and supported.

MO Museum Director Milda Ivanauskienė emphasised that cultural education is central to the museum’s mission, and that partnerships play a key role in widening access.

“MO aims to reach a wide range of social groups through cultural education, especially those for whom such experiences are less accessible. Art nurtures critical thinking and helps build a conscious society — qualities that contribute to a resilient and safe future for Lithuania. Cultural education requires resources and continuity, so partnerships with socially responsible companies such as Staticus make it possible to expand these efforts and invest in the future,” she said.

First-year partnership outcomes

This year, MO Museum and Staticus have already worked with the Trakai District Family and Child Support Centre. Children from the centre were invited to participate in educational sessions at MO, while museum educators also travelled to Trakai to deliver workshops on site. Staticus contributed through direct engagement with the children, including a “Dream City” workshop where participants designed and built models of their ideal cities.

The programme supported children of different ages in developing creativity, critical thinking, collaboration, and emotional awareness through art. MO also hosted the centre’s staff for guided visits and an exhibition focused on emotional health, with the aim of supporting staff well-being and strengthening the community around the children.

Plans for the next two years

Over the next two years, Staticus and MO Museum plan to build on this foundation, extending creative learning opportunities to more children and families, and deepening the long-term social impact of the partnership through consistent cultural education and community-based engagement.
