We are looking for a colleague to assist in ensuring the safety of employees in the company’s production facilities, warehouses and construction sites in Lithuania and other countries where the company operates.
Your future role
- HSE Policy Maintenance: Maintaining HSE policies, such as occupational health and safety and environmental policies.
- Compliance and Site Visits: Visiting production, warehousing facilities, and construction sites in Lithuania and other countries where the company operates. Ensuring compliance with legal requirements and advising responsible departments.
- Risk Mitigation: Continuously assessing the risks associated with the company’s operations. Coordinating the implementation of risk management measures and ensuring the implementation of preventative actions.
- Training and Education: Preparing various training, knowledge, and educational resources. Formal training is organised and delivered to the company’s employees.
- Policy and Procedure Development: Developing policies, procedures, and practices.
- Environmental Reporting: Preparing and submitting environmental reports in GPAIS.
- Employee Health Checks: Organising health checks for employees.
- Incident Reporting: Preparing incident reports and providing statistical information to line management.
- Problem Solving and Innovation: Demonstrating creativity, resourcefulness, and perseverance in solving problems and finding solutions.
What do we expect from you?
- Certifications and Education: Occupational Health and Safety Specialist Certificate and a University degree in a related field.
- Experience: Experience in a similar job, preferably in a company with similar specifics.
- Knowledge of Health and Safety: Familiarity with occupational safety and health, fire, environmental, and civil protection legislation. Knowledge of occupational safety in foreign countries is a great advantage.
- Communication Skills Excellent written and oral English language skills (at least B2 level).
- Leadership: Ability to work as part of a team and independently. Responsibility, integrity, and initiative.
- Additional Requirements: Category B driving licence and Possibility of travelling abroad.
