As a Senior Facade System Designer, you will be responsible for developing cutting-edge façade solutions. From design and technical development to stakeholder cooperation and quality assurance, your knowledge will assist in making the design concept a reality.
Your future role
- Design Engineering: Develop new, innovative, cost-effective façade technical solutions and products. Analyze design documentation for new projects and propose optimal implementation strategies for façade systems.
- Technical Documentation: Prepare technical documentation, including technical drawings, specifications, and regulatory submissions. Ensure compliance with local regulations and project-specific requirements throughout the design process.
- Process Improvement: Improve internal design processes, standards, and tools to enhance efficiency and drive innovation within the team. Develop technical solutions that align with organizational strategies and value-engineering principles.
- Collaboration and Stakeholder Engagement: Work closely with architects, consultants, and cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of façade systems into overall project designs.
- Risk Management and Technical Oversight: Assess project specifications to identify risks and develop mitigation strategies. Ensure technical soundness and practical viability of proposed solutions, supporting efficient and high-quality project execution.
What do we expect from you?
- Educational Background: University education in engineering like civil, mechanical or architecture.
- Professional Experience: 5+ years of work experience with facade systems or in facade engineering is a must.
- Language: English B2 level, including familiarity with technical and professional terminology.
- Technical Knowledge: Knowledge of different facade systems and products of several structural types, ability to master a new system. Skills to develop solutions for any kind of facade structures independently, improve system/errors. Ability to prepare drainage and ventilation strategy for the system, data for tendering of systemic materials, and prepare drawings for new profiles and accessories. Having an advanced understanding of material compatibility. Being an expert in facade installation and installation drawings.
- Software Proficiency: Great working skills with AutoCAD. Able to model 3D without supervision (using Solidworks and/or Inventor), uses parametric modelling. Knowledge of Robot, Mepla, Flixo, and Insul software usage.
- Interpersonal Skills: Teamwork, able to introduce and train colleagues. Good public speaking skills.
- Personal Attributes: Initiative, attention to detail, responsibility, ability to work without supervision, emotional competencies, open mindset, ability to adapt to changes.
