Staticus has been recognised on the European stage at TechFest 2025 in London, winning the Best Use of Technology: Digital Construction award for our Staticus XD façade management platform. At the same event, Staticus was also shortlisted in the “Digital Contractor of the Year” category, underlining our broader progress in digital transformation across the business.
Why this award matters
The TechFest Awards recognise projects, teams and organisations that are using technology to move civil engineering and construction forward – from AI and digital construction to carbon reduction and data-driven asset management. Entries are assessed by an independent judging panel of industry leaders, with a two-stage process of written submissions and live presentations for selected categories.
Within this context, winning Best Use of Technology: Digital Construction places Staticus XD alongside some of the most advanced digital initiatives in European construction today.
How did Staticus XD stood out
Staticus XD was recognised as the winning entry ahead of strong finalists including Anotherkind Architects and Graphisoft, BAM, Biosite Systems, Laing O’Rourke, Node and The Modern Builder.
According to the judges, Staticus XD impressed because it:
- is a digital-first façade management platform that brings full transparency and efficiency to façade delivery
- unifies live data, quality records and installation progress into a single visual environment
- can integrate multiple data sources and streamline workflows across the delivery process
- delivers measurable benefits, including reduced CO₂ impact, improved accessibility of information and greater transparency for all stakeholders
- demonstrates a clear vision for scaling specialist façade tools beyond a single project or market
In practical terms, Staticus XD allows project teams, installers and clients to see the same live picture of façade progress – from design and production through to logistics, installation and handover. This reduces manual reporting, supports more accurate planning, and gives everyone earlier visibility of risks and opportunities.
A collaborative achievement
Staticus XD has been developed and refined through close collaboration between our Digital Solutions and IT, Engineering and Design, Project Management and Site teams, together with our external software and data partners. Co-created on live projects, the platform is rooted in day-to-day reality: it helps teams coordinate complex façades, manage large volumes of quality data, and keep all stakeholders aligned in real time.
As a result, the TechFest recognition is not only an award for a digital product, but a milestone in how we work together across disciplines to deliver façades more efficiently, transparently and sustainably.
