As we continue expanding our presence in the United States, we are looking for an experienced Bid Manager to join our growing team in Chicago.
This is an exciting opportunity for a commercially driven construction professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and wants to play a key role in securing landmark projects across the U.S. market.
Your future role
Bid and Proposal Management. Lead and manage the full bid and proposal process for façade and curtain wall projects, ensuring timely, accurate, and competitive submissions aligned with company objectives and client expectations.
Preconstruction and Estimating Coordination. Coordinate bid inputs across engineering, procurement, manufacturing, installation, and commercial teams to develop comprehensive project proposals, budgets, and technical solutions.
Client and Stakeholder Collaboration. Review and evaluate client inquiries, bid documents, specifications, and project requirements to ensure a complete understanding of scope, risks, and commercial opportunities.
Cross-Functional Team Leadership. Work closely with internal teams including Concept Design Engineers, Procurement Specialists, Estimators, and Project Management teams to develop coordinated and competitive proposals.
Supplier and Subcontractor Management. Collaborate with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain pricing, evaluate proposals, negotiate commercial terms, and secure the best overall value for the project and client.
Cost Estimation and Commercial Strategy. Prepare detailed cost estimates and commercial proposals for aluminum, glass, and unitized curtain wall systems, ensuring accuracy, profitability, and competitiveness.
Risk Assessment and Contract Review. Identify commercial, technical, and operational risks during the bidding phase and support the development of mitigation strategies and proposal qualifications.
Technical and Commercial Support. Participate in client meetings, presentations, and negotiation discussions, providing technical and commercial expertise throughout the preconstruction process.
Documentation and Proposal Preparation. Prepare professional bid documentation, commercial offer letters, clarifications, and supporting materials that clearly communicate the proposed solution and project value.
What do we expect from you?
Industry Experience. Minimum 5 years of experience in bid management, estimating, preconstruction, or proposal management within the façade, curtain wall, glazing, or commercial construction industry.
Technical Knowledge. Strong understanding of façade systems, curtain wall construction, aluminum and glass systems, manufacturing processes, installation methods, and building envelope technologies.
Estimating and Commercial Skills. Experience preparing large-scale commercial construction estimates and coordinating complex technical proposals for high-value projects.
Knowledge of U.S. Construction Practices. Familiarity with U.S. construction standards, permitting processes, contract administration, and commercial construction delivery methods.
Communication and Leadership. Strong communication, organizational, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across cross-functional teams.
Technical Proficiency. Experience using estimating, scheduling, and project management software such as Bluebeam, Procore, MS Project, Primavera P6, or similar platforms is considered an advantage.
Personal Attributes. Self-motivated, detail-oriented, solution-driven professional with strong analytical thinking and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Compensation package: $130,000–$170,000 annually, depending on experience, qualifications, and project background.
