As a Bid Manager, you will spearhead the strategic bidding process, working closely with cross-functional teams to secure key projects in the competitive facade construction sector. This role offers an exciting opportunity for a professional with a proven track record to make an impact on our continued growth and industry leadership.
Your future role
- Project Bid Management: Ensure the seamless execution of the bid process for projects, adhering to defined timelines and financial parameters.
- Project Coordination: Lead the coordination of project offers, overseeing the calculation and detailed technical descriptions for accurate and compelling quotations.
- Customer Inquiry Overview: Systematically review and evaluate customer inquiries, ensuring a thorough understanding of their needs and requirements.
- Team Coordination: Lead, coordinate, and provide support to Agile teams, including Concept Design Engineers, Procurement Specialists, and Project Realisation team. Facilitate collaboration on offers, installation, and production aspects.
- Supplier Collaboration: Foster existing cooperation with suppliers, evaluating and negotiating their offers to secure the best value for the company and the client.
- Project Planning and Calculation: Facilitate seamless cross-functional collaboration by coordinating bid inputs from various organisational departments and subcontractors, ensuring the development of a cohesive and comprehensive proposal with accurate estimations and efficient project execution.
- Documentation: Draft comprehensive offer letters and documents, ensuring clarity and professionalism in all communication channels.
- Estimation and Commercial Offer Preparation: Drive the comprehensive estimation process for projects encompassing aluminium, and glass facades, crafting commercially sound offers that align precisely with company goals and meet client expectations.
- Support: Provide expert technical and commercial support during client meetings, addressing queries effectively to enhance client satisfaction.
- Risk management: Identify risks, assessments, and management scenarios during the preparation of commercial proposals.
What do we expect from you?
- Industry Experience: Proven track record with a minimum of 5 years of successful experience in bid management and proposal writing within the facade industry.
- Technical Proficiency: Demonstrated excellence in understanding and applying the products and services offered by the company.
- Technical Knowledge: In-depth knowledge of spanning construction, structures, production, installation technologies, and materiality.
- Personal Attributes: Exhibit independence, organizational prowess, result-oriented focus, and a collaborative spirit with a robust technical background.
- Communication Skills: An ability to communicate effectively with colleagues and company partners at least B1 level, while fostering clear and impactful interactions.
- Time Management Skills: Display adept skills in planning, time management, communication, and negotiation, showcasing the ability to work independently and collaboratively within a strong team environment.
